1. Overview

By accessing or using the services of The Duct Clinic, including our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all customers, users, and visitors. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

The Duct Clinic provides cleaning services only, including:

  • Air duct cleaning (with a negative pressure vacuum system)

  • Dryer vent cleaning (without dismantling or modifying the vent structure)

  • Chimney cleaning (removing soot/creosote buildup without structural modification)

  • Indoor air quality inspections

⚠️ Disclaimer:

  • The Duct Clinic does not provide HVAC installation, repair, replacement, insulation, plenum box work, coil installation/removal, or any licensed contractor services.

  • Our services are strictly limited to cleaning, inspection, and preventative maintenance.

  • Customers acknowledge and agree that our services do not replace licensed HVAC work when required by law under Florida DBPR regulations.

3. Method of Service (Equipment Used)

  • All air duct cleaning is performed with a large negative pressure vacuum machine designed to safely remove dust, debris, and allergens without damaging internal ductwork.

  • This method complies with DBPR standards because it does not require the removal of grills/vents or structural alterations to the HVAC system.

  • Cleaning is non-invasive. No grills, registers, or mechanical parts are removed unless otherwise specified in writing and performed by a licensed contractor.

4. Appointments and Cancellations

  • Appointments must be scheduled in advance.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment.

  • No-shows or late cancellations may incur a fee.

5. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing varies based on property size, system condition, and location.

  • Full or partial payment may be required upfront.

  • All payments are final once service begins.

6. Non-Refund Policy

  • All sales are final once work has commenced.

  • Due to the skilled labor and specialized equipment involved, refunds are not provided.

  • Corrective work may be offered at our discretion, but this does not alter our no-refund policy.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide safe and clear access to service areas.

  • Notify our team of any conditions (allergies, sensitivities, pets, valuables).

  • Ensure parking and utility access.

  • Acknowledge that The Duct Clinic provides cleaning-only services, not licensed HVAC installation, insulation, or repair.

8. Warranty & Service Guarantee

  • Limited warranties may apply to workmanship of cleaning only.

  • Warranties exclude HVAC system performance, mechanical failures, or licensed repair.

  • Warranties do not cover misuse, wear/tear, or external conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Duct Clinic is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing issues, hidden damages, or structural defects.

  • Mold, asbestos, or contaminants requiring licensed remediation.

  • Negligence, fire hazards, or system failure not directly caused by our cleaning.

  • Any damages resulting from customer-provided inaccurate information or failure to follow safety instructions.

10. Health & Safety

  • We use eco-friendly products safe for children and pets.

  • Customers must disclose health sensitivities or hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos).

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
